So yes, you get to choose when and how long you want to rest, but you need to be strategic about it if you want to have a good time. The guys that are in amazing shape can do the workout "unbroken" meaning no rest. The rest of us mortals need to be a little more strategic. I take a "slow and stready wins the race" approach.
